    Itinerary

    1. 1

      Day 1

      Arrival in Tokyo, first sakura experience

      Arrive in Tokyo. Ueno Park cherry blossom viewing, Senso-ji Temple, the Sumida River Sakura Promenade and a Tokyo Skytree photo stop, then free time in Ginza. Overnight at a Tokyo area hotel. Meals: dinner.

      Day 2

      Tokyo sakura highlights

      Chidorigafuchi Sakura Avenue, the Imperial Palace East Gardens, the Meguro River cherry blossom tunnel, Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden and the Shibuya Sky observation deck. Tokyo's most iconic cherry blossom spots in one day. Overnight at a Tokyo area hotel. Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

      Day 3

      Tokyo to Mt. Fuji

      Lake Kawaguchi Cherry Blossom Festival, Oishi Park, Arakurayama Sengen Park, the Chureito Pagoda and Oshino Hakkai, closing with a Japanese onsen experience. Mt. Fuji, cherry blossoms and the five-storey pagoda, Japan's most iconic spring scenery. Overnight at a Mt. Fuji onsen resort. Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

      Day 4

      Mt. Fuji to Kyoto

      Shinkansen to Kyoto, then Kiyomizu-dera Temple, the Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka streets, Yasaka Shrine and Maruyama Park for the night sakura. Overnight in Kyoto. Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

      Day 5

      Kyoto sakura discovery

      The Philosopher's Path, Nanzen-ji Temple, Heian Shrine, the Kegon Incline and Gion Hanamikoji Street. Kyoto's timeless beauty during cherry blossom season. Overnight in Kyoto. Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

      Day 6

      Kyoto to Nara to Osaka

      Nara Park, Todai-ji Temple and Kasuga Taisha Shrine, then transfer to Osaka for the cherry blossoms of Osaka Castle Park, Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi Shopping Street. Sakura, deer and Japan's rich cultural heritage. Overnight in Osaka. Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

      Day 7

      Osaka free and easy, departure

      Osaka Castle Park, Kuromon Market, the Umeda Sky Building and the optional Rinku Premium Outlets, then departure from Kansai International Airport.
